ABOUT ZOISITE:

Zoisite belongs in the epidote mineral group, and comes in many colors. It is named after an Austrian scholar Sigmund Zois. It forms with ruby inclusions in metamorphic rocks. Ruby Zoisite was discovered in Tanzania in the 1950s.
